How to play

Once on the field, soldiers automatically advance to the nearest available trench, hunkering down behind cover to return fire against incoming enemy waves.

You can left-click individual squads in your trenches to order them forward into the next position or hold their current defensive line. As the battle unfolds, timed fire support abilities such as mortar rounds and heavy artillery barrages become available. Clicking a support power and selecting an enemy trench coordinates an explosive strike to soften defenses before your infantry charges.

Matches can be won in two distinct ways: advancing past the final enemy trench to overrun their base, or grinding down opposing forces until their army morale drops to zero.

Tactical tips

• Suppress before charging: Sending infantry across open mud against an active machine gun position leads to heavy casualties. Soften enemy trenches with artillery barrages first.
• Combine unit types: Pair standard rifle squads with specialized assault troops and officer units to boost frontline morale and improve trench-clearing efficiency.
• Protect your morale: Reckless assaults deplete your army morale meter rapidly. Falling back to defensive positions when outnumbered is often smarter than losing entire squads.
