UNO is the shedding card game most people learned at a kitchen table: everyone starts with seven cards, and the first player to get rid of their whole hand wins the round. This version runs in the browser with nothing to install, so a quick hand takes about as long as opening the page.

How to play
Play with the mouse or a tap: click a card in your hand to put it on the discard pile. Some builds let you drag the card instead. A card is legal if it matches the top card by colour, by number, or by symbol. If you have nothing legal, you draw from the deck and play that card if it fits, or pass.
The action cards are what make rounds swing:
- Skip makes the next player lose their turn.
- Reverse flips the direction of play.
- Draw Two makes the next player take two cards and miss their turn.
- Wild lets you choose the next colour. Wild Draw Four does that and adds four cards for the next player.
When you are down to one card you must call UNO. In the tabletop rules, forgetting means a penalty draw if someone catches you. Look for the UNO button as soon as you play your second-to-last card. Exact house rules, such as whether draws can be stacked, differ between versions, so watch the first hand to see what this one allows.
Tips
- Count colours in your hand. Dump the colour you hold the most of early, and keep a few wilds back for the endgame.
- Do not spend a Wild on turn one. It is worth far more as your way out when you are stuck on the last two cards.
- Switch the colour to one you hold plenty of, not just whichever you have least of.
- Play high-point cards first when you can. If a round ends early, the cards left in your hand are what cost you.
