How to play
Steer with the mouse or with WASD. Type a name if the game asks for one, then you drop in on the live board. Move off the edge of your territory and a trail starts following you. Curve back and join the trail to your own land, and the whole enclosed area fills with your colour. Your share of the map is the score, so the aim is to keep that share climbing.
You can also hunt. Your trail is a weapon as well as a weakness: if you cut across another player's trail, they are eliminated. Other players are real people on live servers, so some will play carefully and others will rush you.
Tips
- Take many small loops rather than one huge one. A big loop leaves a long trail exposed for a long time.
- Keep one edge of your territory close while you are out, so you always have a short way home.
- Watch the heads of nearby players, not just their trails. A player running toward your trail is a bigger danger than a long trail that is far away.
- Do not turn sharply while a rival is close behind you. Make your turns when you have room.
